This Act is the Fair Digital News Bargaining Act . This Act comes into force on . However,— to of and come into force on a date or dates set by Order in Council; and if those provisions have not come into force by , they come into force then. The purpose of this Act is to support sustainable production of New Zealand news content by ensuring that operators of digital platforms make a fair contribution to the cost of producing news content that is made available by their digital platform.
