This Act is the Copyright Amendment Act . come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent. The rest of this Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made appointing different dates for different provisions and different purposes. This amends the Copyright Act 1994. Section 2(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical order: ,— for the purposes of , means the Chief Executive of the Ministry; and for the purposes of Part 7, has the meaning set out in section 135 , for the purposes of and , means— any material, whether or not it is signed or otherwise authenticated, that bears symbols (including words and figures), images,
