This Act is the New Zealand Productivity Commission Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. The purpose of this Act is to— establish the Commission as a Crown entity for the purposes of section 7 of the Crown Entities Act 2004; and state the Commission's functions and powers.
