This Act is the Ngā Hapū o Ngāti Ranginui Claims Settlement Act . This Act comes into force on the day after Royal assent. This Act is the Tauranga Moana Iwi Collective Redress and Ngā Hapū o Ngāti Ranginui Claims Settlement Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. The purpose of is— to record the acknowledgements and apology given by the Crown to Ngā Hapū o Ngāti Ranginui in the deed of settlement; and to give effect to certain provisions of the deed of settlement that settles the historical claims of Ngā Hapū o Ngāti Ranginui. The provisions of take effect on the settlement date unless stated otherwise. Before the date on which a provision takes effect, a person may prepare or sign a document or do anything else that is required for
