This Act is the Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) . This Act comes into force 6 months after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Crimes Act 1961. Section 2(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical order: means a breach of any Act, regulation, rule, or bylaw , for the purposes of , means a person unable, by reason of detention, age, sickness, mental impairment, or any other cause, to withdraw himself or herself from the care or charge of another person The definition of in section 2(1) is amended by omitting and substituting a proprietary or possessory right in property in relation to which the offence is alleged to have been committed .
