This Act is the Adverse Weather-affected Timber Recovery on Conservation Lands Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. The purpose of this Act is to allow the Director-General to authorise the removal from certain conservation areas and reserves of trees irreversibly damaged by an adverse weather event for timber recovery.
