This Act is the Customs and Excise (AANZFTA) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council. amends the Customs and Excise Act 1996. The purpose of is to amend the principal Act to provide for a system of issuing New Zealand certificates of origin in relation to goods being exported to countries that are parties to the Agreement Establishing the ASEAN–Australia–New Zealand Free Trade Area done at Cha-am, Phetchaburi, Thailand on 27 February 2009.
