This Act is the Local Government (Auckland Council) Amendment Act (No 3) . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009 (the ). The purpose of this Act is to prohibit candidates from serving on multiple local boards at the same time.
