This Act is the Education (Polytechnics) Amendment Act . come into force on 1 March 2010. The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Education Act 1989. Section 159(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical order: means a body constituted under , in relation to an institution, means the people who (by virtue of section 163) constitute it — after 28 February 2010 and before 1 May 2010 means a polytechnic designated for the purposes of by the Governor-General by Order in Council: on or after 1 May 2010 means any polytechnic — means the council of a polytechnic; and includes a combined council ,— in relation to a polytechnic designated for the purposes of by the Governo
