This Act is the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008. Section 4 is amended by inserting the following definition in its appropriate alphabetical order: means any 2 or more alternative official geographic names for the same geographic feature or Crown protected area Paragraph (a)(i) of the definition of in section 4 is amended by omitting and substituting .
