This Act is the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act (No ) . of the principal Act (as inserted by of this Act) come into force on 1 September 2009. of the principal Act (as inserted by of this Act) comes into force on 1 March 2010. of the principal Act (as inserted by of this Act) comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council. Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989. The Long Title is repealed. The following section is inserted after section 1: The purpose of this Act is to provide for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, as the central bank, to be responsible for— formulating and implementing monetary policy designed to promote stability in the g
