This Act is the Governor-General Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act binds the Crown. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— means a person authorised to make decisions under by the Minister who, with the authority of the Prime Minister, is responsible for Ministerial Services , in relation to any person, means— a spouse or partner: a child— who is being maintained as a member of the person's family; and in respect of whom the person either is the sole or principal provider of ongoing daily care for the child or shares ongoing daily care of the child substantially equally with another person; and who is under 18 years of age; and who is not living with another person in a marriage, civil union, or de facto
