This Act is the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Extension of Act and Reduction of Powers) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after Royal assent. However, and (3) to (5), , to (3), , and (which reduce the maximum fines and fees for infringement offences and fines for individuals convicted of offences) come into force— on a date set by the Governor-General by Order in Council; or to the extent not brought into force earlier, on .
