This Act is the Cluster Munitions Act . This Act comes into force on a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council. The purpose of this Act is to implement New Zealand's obligations under the Convention. A person who is exercising a power or discretion under this Act must have regard to New Zealand's obligations under the Convention.
