This Act is the Trustee Amendment Act . The following provisions (which relate to advisory trustees and protectors) come into force on the day that is 3 months after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent: ; and the heading before those sections. Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This amends the Trustee Act 1956. Section 24 is repealed and the following section substituted: A trustee may insure all or any of the property that is subject to the trust — against risks of loss or damage due to any event; and on any terms (including, without limitation, terms requiring the insurer to replace all or any of the property so insured) the trustee thinks fit.
