This Act is the New Plymouth District Council (Waitara Lands) Act . come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent. Act comes into force months after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. The purposes of this Act are to— remove all existing endowments, statutory trusts, restrictions, reservations and limitations affecting the Waitara Endowment Land and any accumulated and ongoing income generated from the Waitara Endowment Land; and provide for the fee simple ownership in the Transfer Land to be vested in the Trustees subject to restrictions; and provide for the status of the Transfer Land as reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977; and provide for the Council to be the administering body of Transfer Land that remains a reserve; and provide
