This Act is the Valuers Act . This Act comes into force 6 months after Royal assent. The purpose of this Act is to re-enact the Valuers Act 1948 in an up-to-date and accessible form. This is a revision Act for the purposes of sections 59 to 62 of the Legislation Act 2019 (which provide that a revision Act’s provisions are intended to have the same effect as the corresponding provisions of the old law, subject to certain exceptions). sets out where the corresponding provisions of the Valuers Act 1948 can be found in this Act on its commencement. The purpose of the schedule is to assist readers. It is not a definitive or ongoing guide to how the provisions correspond. sets out provisions of this Act that are, for the purposes of section 62(a) of the Legislation Act 2019, expressly provided b
