This Act is the State Sector and Crown Entities Reform Act . This Act comes into force on 31 October 2018. This Part amends the Crown Entities Act 2004. In section 98(1)(c), delete . After section 98(1), insert: Subsection (1)(c) does not apply to a statutory entity parent that is either of the following: a district health board: an organisation within the meaning of clause 1 of Schedule 6 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000. Replace section 117(1) and (2) with: A chief executive of a statutory entity is appointed for a term of not more than 5 years, but may be reappointed.
