This Act is the Racing Industry (Closure of Greyhound Racing Industry) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after Royal assent. However,— comes into force on : comes into force on a date or dates set by Order in Council. Any part of this Act that has not come into force by comes into force then. An Order in Council made under this section is secondary legislation ( Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for publication requirements). This Act amends the Racing Industry Act 2020. After section 3(a), insert: establish the Greyhound Racing Transition Agency to oversee the closure of the greyhound racing industry, including the dissolution of GRNZ and greyhound racing clubs; and After section 4(3)(h), insert: create an offence relating to the unlawful destruction of specified grey
