This Act is the Invest New Zealand Act . This Act comes into force on . The purpose of this Act is to establish Invest New Zealand to promote increased overseas investment into New Zealand and to provide for Invest New Zealand’s objective, functions, and operation. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— means the Board of Invest New Zealand means the chief executive of the department means the entity established by means an organisation named in Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 (other than a mortality review committee or the Parliamentary Service) has the meaning set out in section 2(1) of the Ombudsmen Act 1975. The transitional, savings, and related provisions set out in have effect according to their terms. This Act binds the Crown. Invest New Zealand is established. I
