This Act is the New Zealand Public Health and Disability (Restriction on Crown Funding Agreements and Unfunded Cancer Medicines) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 (the ). In section 6(1), insert in the appropriate alphabetical order: means a health practitioner who is, or is deemed to be, registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand continued by section 114(1)(a) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a practitioner of the profession of medicine After section 10(2), insert: Despite subsection (2), a Crown funding agreement must not contain any term or condition that has the affect of prohibiting a DHB from providing heal
