What the official record says
This Act is the Charities Amendment Act . Sections 17, 20, 35, and 36 come into force 3 months after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent. Sections 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, and 34 come into force 12 months after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent. The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Part amends the Charities Act 2005. In section 4(1), replace the definition of with: , in relation to a charitable entity,— means a person occupying a position in the entity who is able to exercise significant influence over substantial decisions of the entity including, but not limited to,— in relation to a trust, the trustees of the trust; and in relation to any other entity, a member of the board
