This Act is the Riccarton Bush Amendment Act . comes into force on 1 July . The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Part amends the Riccarton Bush Act 1914. Section 4 is repealed and the following sections are substituted: A member of the Board appointed under of the Riccarton Bush Amendment Act 1947 who is not an elected member of the council or a community board (as defined in section 5 of the Local Government Act 2002) holds office for 3 years.
