This Act is the Taxation (Income Tax Rate and Other Amendments) Act . This Act comes into force on the date on which it receives the Royal assent, except as provided in this section. comes into force on 1 April 2020. , except , comes into force on 1 April 2021. come into force on 1 October 2021. This Part, except , applies for the 2021–22 and later income years. amend the Income Tax Act 2007. Replace section RD 10(2), other than the heading, with: An employee who notifies their employer of their tax code may choose to have the amount of tax for an extra pay fixed as follows: for an employee whose taxable income for the income year is expected to be not more than $48,000, the rate set out in ; or for an employee whose taxable income for the income year is expected to be not more than $70,00
