This Act is the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on a date or dates set by Order in Council. (which relate to bond lodgement, methods of payment to the chief executive, and transitional arrangements) come into force on the day after Royal assent. (which relate to tenancy termination) come into force 6 weeks after Royal assent. (which relate to miscellaneous matters) come into force 3 months after Royal assent. (which relate to pets) come into force on a single date set by Order in Council. Any part of the Act that has not come into force by the second anniversary of Royal assent comes into force then.
