This Act is the Human Rights Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Human Rights Act 1993. After section 2, insert: The transitional, savings, and related provisions set out in have effect according to their terms. The definition of in section 2(1) is amended by omitting . The definitions of and in section 2(1) are repealed. Section 5(1)(b) is amended by omitting and substituting .
