This Act is the Shop Trading Hours Act Repeal (Waitaki Easter Trading) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Shop Trading Hours Act Repeal Act 1990. Section 2 is amended by inserting the following definition in its appropriate alphabetical order: means a territorial authority within the meaning of the Local Government Act 2002 The following section is inserted after section 4A: Section 3(1) does not apply to a shop on Good Friday or Easter Sunday if the shop is located in the district of a territorial authority listed in . as set out in the Schedule to this Act is added.
