This Act is the Adoption Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after Royal assent. However, come into force on the earlier of the following: a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council: . An Order in Council made under is secondary legislation ( Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for publication requirements). This Part amends the Adoption Act 1955.
