This Act is the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act (No 2) . This Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more orders may be made bringing different provisions into force on different dates. This Act amends the Residential Tenancies Act 1986. Section 2(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical order: means a transfer to a person of all of the rights that a tenant has under a tenancy agreement , , , and each have the meanings given to them in means the department of State that, with the authority of the Prime Minister, is for the time being responsible for the administration of this Act , in relation to a matter before, or to be brought before, the Tribunal, includes any claim, differen
