This Act is the Appropriation (2025/26 Estimates) Act . This Act comes into force on the day after Royal assent. and apply to the periods set out in . The rest of this Act applies to the 2025/26 financial year. This Act meets the requirements of the Public Finance Act 1989 for parliamentary control over expenditure by the Crown and Offices of Parliament as follows: make appropriations that authorise the Crown and Offices of Parliament to incur expenses and capital expenditure during the 2025/26 financial year ( section 4(1) of the Public Finance Act 1989); and make appropriations that authorise the Crown to incur expenses and capital expenditure during more than 1 financial year ( section 10 of the Public Finance Act 1989); and specify appropriations to which output expenses may be charged
