This Act is the Financial Service Providers (Pre-Implementation Adjustments) Act . and the come into force on the commencement of section 164(4) of the Financial Advisers Act 2008. The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. To avoid doubt, a provision of the Financial Advisers Act 2008 that is amended or enacted by this comes into force in accordance with section 2 of that Act. This amends the Financial Advisers Act 2008. The purpose of this is to prepare for the effective and efficient implementation of the principal Act by making a number of necessary and desirable amendments to that Act.
