This Act is the Social Assistance (Living Alone Payments) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on 6 July 2011. This Act comes into force on the earlier of— a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council: 2 September 2013. amends the New Zealand Superannuation and Retirement Income Act 2001. Section 4(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical order: , in relation to a single person, has the meaning given to it by means the rate of New Zealand superannuation specified in clause 1(a) of Schedule 1 that is payable to a single person who is living alone means the rate of New Zealand superannuation specified in clause 1(b) of Schedule 1 that is payable to a single person who is not living alone The following section is inserted afte
