This Act is the Therapeutic Products and Medicines Act . (which relate to therapeutic products) come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made bringing different provisions into force on different dates. (which relate to medicines) come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made bringing different provisions into force on different dates. The object of this Act is— to give effect, by way of a Therapeutic Products Act, to the Agreement between the Government of Australia and the Government of New Zealand for the Establishment of a Joint Scheme for the Regulation of Therapeutic Products, done at Wellington on 10 December 2003;
