This Act is the Firearms Prohibition Orders Legislation Act . This Act comes into force 3 months after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Part amends the Arms Act 1983. In section 2(1), insert in its appropriate alphabetical order: or means an order made against a person by a court under Replace section 3(6) with: Except with the leave of the Attorney-General, no prosecution for any of the following offences may be commenced or continued against any constable in respect of any act they commit at a time or during a period when they are acting as an undercover officer: an offence against , 55D, 55E, 55F, or 55G; or an offence of conspiring to commit an offence against , 55D, 55E, 55F, or 55G; or an offence of attempting to commit an offence against , 55D, 55E, 55F, or 55G.
