This Act is the Affordable Housing: Enabling Territorial Authorities Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act binds the Crown. This Act binds the Crown. In this Act, unless the context requires ,— means housing that— is for persons living in households that— have low to moderate income; and have no, low, or moderate legal or beneficial interests in property; and is priced so that the persons are able to meet— their housing costs; and their other essential basic living costs is within the regulatory criteria for determining what affordable housing is, if regulations setting criteria exist means a policy that— covers the matters described in ; and is adopted by a territorial authority has the meaning given to it by section 7 of
