This Act is the Online Casino Gambling Act . This Act comes into force on . However,— and come into force on ; and , and the amendments in to subpart 3 of Part 3 of the Gambling Act 2003, come into force on . The purpose of this Act is to— establish a licensing regime for online casino gambling; and prohibit the conduct and advertisement of unlicensed online casino gambling; and prevent and minimise harm from online casino gambling; and protect consumers who participate in online casino gambling; and ensure that money from online casino gambling benefits the community. The prohibitions in and apply to a person regardless of whether the person is in or outside New Zealand. Provisions under this Act that apply to a person who takes part in the licensing process apply to that person regardles
