This Act is the Crimes (Robbery) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Crimes Act 1961 (the ). In section 234(1), after “theft”, insert “or unlawful taking”. In this section, has the same meaning as in section 219(3) and (4).
