This Act is the Crimes Legislation (Stalking and Harassment) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force 6 months after Royal assent. This Part amends the Crimes Act 1961. and cross-heading inserted After section 216N, insert: For the purposes of , a person ( ) another person ( ) if person A— engages in a pattern of behaviour that is directed at person B by doing any specified act to person B on at least separate occasions within a period of ; and engages in that pattern of behaviour knowing that it is likely to cause fear or distress to person B.
