This Act is the Energy (Fuels, Levies, and References) Amendment Act . This Act, except and , comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. and come into force 1 year after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent unless earlier brought into force on a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council. This Act amends the Energy (Fuels, Levies, and References) Act 1989 (the ). After section 14(2)(b), insert: compliance by the Crown with New Zealand's obligations under the International Energy Agreement; and compliance by the Crown with New Zealand’s obligation, under Article 2 of the International Energy Agreement, to maintain the emergency reserve commitment set out in that Article; and After section 14(2), insert: Levies recovered
