This Act is the Land Transport (Wheel Clamping) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the 42nd day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Land Transport Act 1998 (the ). After section 98B, insert: In this Part,— means a wheel clamp or other device that is intended to immobilise a motor vehicle or restrict or impede its movement means a person who has control over an immobilising device means a place on a road on which a person is able to park their motor vehicle means the amount prescribed in regulations made under , but if no regulations are made, the prescribed amount is $100 This section applies if an operator applies an immobilising device to a motor vehicle parked in a parking place, the parking place is on a road under the control of an enfor
