This Act is the Education Amendment Act (No 2) . come into force 6 months after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent. The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Education Act 1989. Section 2(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical order: has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Crimes Act 1961 , in relation to a private school or proposed private school, means the criteria set out in has the same meaning as it has in section 159 has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Industry Training Act 1992 has the same meaning as it has in section 159 means a provider of secondary-tertiary programmes that is recognised by the Minister by notice in the
