This Act is the Child Protection (Child Sex Offender Government Agency Registration) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force 3 months after Royal assent. This Act amends the Child Protection (Child Sex Offender Government Agency Registration) Act 2016. Replace section 3(a) with: providing government agencies with the information needed to monitor, and manage the risk posed by, child sex offenders in the community, including after the completion of their sentence; and In section 4, insert in their appropriate alphabetical order: has the meaning given in section 4 of the Immigration Act 2009 has the meaning given in section 2 of the Passports Act 1992 means, in relation to a registrable offender, the place where a registrable offender makes their home because of family or personal relation
