This Act is the Appropriation (2017/18 Confirmation and Validation) Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. The purpose of this Act is to confirm and validate matters relating to the 2017/18 financial year. In this Act, means the financial year ending with 30 June 2018. Terms or expressions used and not defined in this Act but defined in the Public Finance Act 1989 have, in this Act, the same meanings as in the Public Finance Act 1989.
