This Act is the Citizenship (Western Samoa) (Restoration) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after Royal assent. This Part amends the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982. After section 7(2), insert: A person granted New Zealand citizenship under — may later apply for and be granted citizenship under subsection (1)(b)(i); but may not later apply for or be granted citizenship under subsection (1)(b)(ii).
