This Act is the Appropriation (2019/20 Confirmation and Validation) Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. The purpose of this Act is to— confirm and validate matters relating to the 2019/20 financial year; and validate matters relating to the 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, and 2018/19 financial years. In this Act,— means the financial year ending with 30 June 2016 means the financial year ending with 30 June 2017 means the financial year ending with 30 June 2018 means the financial year ending with 30 June 2019 means the financial year ending with 30 June 2020. Terms or expressions used and not defined in this Act but defined in the Public Finance Act 1989 have, in this Act, the same meanings as in the Public Finance Act 1989. The Publ
