This Act is the Conservation (Indigenous Freshwater Fish) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Conservation Act 1987 (the ). In section 2(1), replace the definition of with: means— all species of Anguillidae , Cyprinidae, Electridae , Galaxiidae, Ictaluridae, Percidae, Poeciliidae, Retropinnidae, and Salmonidae: all species of : all species of : Cheimarrichthyidae : Geotridae : Gobiidae : Microdesmidae In section 2(1), repeal the definition of .
