This Act is the Residential Tenancies (Registration of Boarding House Landlords) Amendment Act . This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Residential Tenancies Act 1986. In section 66B, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order: means the Registrar of Boarding House Landlords appointed under After section 66Y, insert: A person must not grant a boarding house tenancy unless the person is registered under this Part as a registered boarding house landlord. A person who is an individual is disqualified from registration if the person— is under 18 years of age; or is an undischarged bankrupt; or is prohibited from being a director of, or being concerned or taking part in the management of, an incorporated or unincorporated
