This Act is the Health and Safety in Employment Amendment Act (No 2) . This Act comes into force on the day that is 6 months after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. This Act amends the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992. The following heading and section are inserted after section 19: applies where 2 or more specified persons are under a duty under this Part or Part 2A, or both, in relation to the same place of work. Each specified person must take all practicable steps to collaborate with the other specified persons with a view to ensuring that the duties of every specified person under this Part or Part 2A, or both, as the case may be, are complied with in relation to the same place of work.
